PTI Sketch Challenge

Well, the fun over at Nichole's blog continues with a sketch challenge--Prize: PTI ribbon! Sign me up. I am getting so many cards done! Today I polished off Mother's Day and Father's Day cards!

Here is the Mother's Day card. Ink (Sweet Blush and Berry Sorbet) and CS (Berry Sorbet and White) are PTI, stamps are PTI Quilter's Sampler. DP is My Mind's Eye, and flower, ribbon, Going Grey ink for needle, and buttons are SU, as well as the eyelet border punch (new!). I am THRILLED with how this turned out! Now if I can just keep track of it until May LOL!

This is the Father's Day card. Can't decide yet if it is for my husband or my dad. CS is Aqua Mist and Ocean Tides. Ink is OT and Palette Noir. I used the retired (a very long time ago) SU BG Old World Map for the BG, added pewter jumbo eyelets and hemp from SU.

Hope you like my cards and enjoy playing along!

Love both of your cards!

I especially like the fathers day one and how you used some twine instead of a solid layer like the sketch!

Love the colors!
