FTL 13 Christmas Cards

Hi, I have been having the MOST fun with FTL 13! Here are some Christmas cards I made using this super easy sketch. The first 2 card bases are Close to Cocoa. I used Gingerbread House, a VERY old set from SU which I love and will never part with! I embossed the gingerbread men and candies in white and the greeting (from SU's Loads of Love--current) with red. I used blender pens and Stampin' Pastels to color the red hearts and candy stripes. Ribbon is from last year's holiday mini catalog, it's called alpine. Don't know if you can tell from the pic, but the button is heart-shaped and is from my stash, tied on with PTI's jute. The one with the candies was actually the second one I made, and I think I like it better--makes me think of "visions of sugarplums"!

The next card is basically the same.

This last card is done on Riding Hood Red. Set used is Loads of Love. Trees are embossed with green, greeting is stamped in Palette Burnt Umber. I made two of these just alike.

These cards will be for people around here. Family and friends far away are getting photo cards.

Have you started your holiday cards yet?

ARGH, I just sold this set this spring. Love what you did with it, both projects are really pretty.

Very very neat. Loved them all :) I really loved the bows...I somehow cannot do good bows. I have gotten some head start with christmas cards by doing them for challenges etc. But still lots to do.

Have I started my holiday cards yet? HAHHAHAHA!!! Is it Christmas Eve? No, I kid. I'm going to be sending out photo cards again this year. But I am making a ton of holiday cards to send to the troops.

I love both of these cards. Your loved ones are so lucky to be getting one of them!
