Super Scrap-a-Thon bonus sketch #1

These pix are from when the kids and I and my brother Terrell drove from my mom and dad's to visit my sister and brother in law at their ranch in Evant. Terrell had flown out from NC. We had a wonderful time. This is for the bonus sketch # 1 over at Scrap Friendzy, which I personally thought was kind of busy, and this page is as well, but I'm happy with how it turned out. Cricut cartridge is Old West, "the ranch" is sponged in chocolate chip ink. Hardware is Tim Holtz, all else is SU, except for the cross-stitch stamping around the pix, those are Technique Tuesday. Journalling is Handwriting Dakota in rust colored ink. Thanks for looking--happy scrapbooking!

This layout has come out perfect. I really liked the way all these different elements come together so well..Not at all busy.

I like the hardware you added, and I agree with Banu. The way you tied it all together is great; doesn't come across too busy to me. You are getting some projects done!!!!
