Teacher Gifts

Well, it's that time of year again--teacher gift time! A month or so ago my women's group at church had a "bead party". The organization is called Bead for Life, and you can check out their website HERE. African women make jewelry out of paper beads and are able to support their families in this way. Anyway, these lovely bracelets were only $5 apiece, so each of the kids' female teachers got one. The male teachers got gift cards from Lowe's, my imagination failed me with them. But of course I had to package the bracelets in a cute little template from My Time Made Easy. This one is called Under Cover. Using my Sure Cuts A Lot I reduced the template size to 75 % and it is a perfect size for the bracelets. Main body of box is So Saffron, cover is retired DP by SU, tag is Nesties and "thanks" stamp is from Mega Mixed Messages by PTI.

Here is a pic of one of the bracelets and the little brochure that tells about the organization. All the bracelets are different, I figure their teachers can swap if they get a color they don't like. I made 9 of these guys in about 3 hours--I love SCAL! Hope everyone is doing well and stamping up a storm. Have a great day.

Those bracelets are pretty, and I love how you packaged them up. What a great idea for the women teachers. And I like the Lowe's idea for the guys. I think that's an excellent choice.
