OK, so I REALLY fell down on the blogging over the last few months. I will try to do better. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I made this card for a dear friend of mine in Wilmington, NC who just lost her dad. I used CTMH papers (Seaside and Colonial White), stamp sets Treasured Friendship and Seaside Greetings, and Desert Sand and Glacier inks and burlap ribbon. I also used SU Groovy Guava ink and the Cheesecloth BG stamp, and the With Sympathy is from PTI's Out on a Limb Sentiments. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjH2QD6lN2JusGp6ZmOb0xawM2be5G2UaarEXyOa6z5Jl1y3_8OHf_HEHUzDJ0WDVdMkEAWX2HQjXD4Izie3kubA_5Y-KQ6YMO6_4tQSNwdC7rJhLjQ011wnd57vpy51tTiqUFTZGTZTVmJ/s1600/Lighthouse+sympathy.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjH2QD6lN2JusGp6ZmOb0xawM2be5G2UaarEXyOa6z5Jl1y3_8OHf_HEHUzDJ0WDVdMkEAWX2HQjXD4Izie3kubA_5Y-KQ6YMO6_4tQSNwdC7rJhLjQ011wnd57vpy51tTiqUFTZGTZTVmJ/s1600/Lighthouse+sympathy.JPG" height="238" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I distressed the edges and sponged them with Desert Sand ink. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I hope anyone still reading this blog is having a wonderful day! Happy crafting!</div>

Boo! Happy Halloween and happy Monday! It's time for another challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Halloween is my second favorite holiday--it's so much fun! And when the new CTMH Idea Book came out in August, I fell in LOVE with the delightful witch's hat. My project today is my version of that hat. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU4b2O9STH03R2xNUNVZhcn4D2_PkgT7Z5g1lnDaOEfvp34-yudHmGk5DqO_tpSqJCE3mB5127vSYGCh6iKl_Upena8anMu6I_FSQBcrPtrTMr-kELFdusa29tV8UPrkwmED-Xq8s0IdYc/s1600/photo+1-10.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU4b2O9STH03R2xNUNVZhcn4D2_PkgT7Z5g1lnDaOEfvp34-yudHmGk5DqO_tpSqJCE3mB5127vSYGCh6iKl_Upena8anMu6I_FSQBcrPtrTMr-kELFdusa29tV8UPrkwmED-Xq8s0IdYc/s1600/photo+1-10.JPG" height="277" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Most of the cuts are from CTMH Artiste. The cone part of the hat is on p. 68. I used my Gypsy (but you could also use Cricut Craft Room) to hide the stars and make it as big as I could on the mat. I cut the circle using CTMH Art Philosophy and used my G to cut a second circle in the center. I used Cricut markers to draw a circle about 1/2 inch out from the inner circle, then used scissors to cut little flaps between the two circles. Then I glued them inside the cone. Now the fun part--decorating the hat!!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMRT0M-df0v9dK9txrzw9O9B5RAFSw35e-HKyeUUqSxFfTK0Klsx7py3S-GhX4KF2nHPVbT14G0dBHSI6nm0Puk9DnC8LhBhMVAs0O6O8ppZm3cPwwbQ5Ap0wKZBXBKgmHOghIumEAvHQg/s1600/photo+2-8.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMRT0M-df0v9dK9txrzw9O9B5RAFSw35e-HKyeUUqSxFfTK0Klsx7py3S-GhX4KF2nHPVbT14G0dBHSI6nm0Puk9DnC8LhBhMVAs0O6O8ppZm3cPwwbQ5Ap0wKZBXBKgmHOghIumEAvHQg/s1600/photo+2-8.JPG" height="320" width="290" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I stuck pretty close to the picture. The spider webs around the brim are the cupcake wrapper on p. 77 (you need 4 of each size). The flowers and leaves are on p. 54, and the spider web is on p. 76. The label is also on p. 77 and coordinates with the CTMH set Halloween Greetings--I am in love with that set! The paper is all from the CTMH Scaredy Cat Paper Pack. I stamped the bats from Halloween Greetings around the brim and sponged the cobwebs.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I taught a class on making this hat and people loved it. It really is so fun to make, and the Cricut makes it really easy.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Do you love Halloween? Why not play along with us this week? I really had fun with this week's challenge: Pun Fun. I love puns, and I have lots of cute "punny" stamps to use. So the challenge is choosing which one to use! Since Halloween is coming up, I decided to go with that theme. Here is my card:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCNunzl6lJqofHv968c9mimGNM4TgosJ2mmpStKcH8G-D9hmuVRIQAwu4MftvohZNIyBQZZPyJQCqSpWNVHVa-CBW8G79Ochn3KKI2xLkl1AOSjlh7MsRJwU0nll60lSCzS5H8-skSu9-b/s1600/photo-5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCNunzl6lJqofHv968c9mimGNM4TgosJ2mmpStKcH8G-D9hmuVRIQAwu4MftvohZNIyBQZZPyJQCqSpWNVHVa-CBW8G79Ochn3KKI2xLkl1AOSjlh7MsRJwU0nll60lSCzS5H8-skSu9-b/s1600/photo-5.JPG" height="320" width="260" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The cauldron is cut from Create a Critter 2 at 3". I cut the shadow layer out of light gray, the main image out of DCWV green glitter paper, and the cauldron out of black. The flames are also DCWV glitter paper. I cut out a second cauldron out of green glitter CS and cut off the handles and most of the cauldron and punched it with my Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch to make it look like the cauldron is overflowing.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
This week's Challenge:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Shape Up: Make a shaped card</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
Good Monday morning, all! You know how I love making shaped cards--it's one of my favorite things to do with my Cricut. There is a beautiful card on Fontopia that I've been meaning to try, and I just got some lovely Christmas stamps and the new Paper Fundamentals from CTMH, so I thought I'd make a Christmas card.</div>
</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Fontopia has very ornate monograms, plus a crest function and a card function. I love the swirls on this card. I used White Daisy for the base, the cranberry Paper Fundamentals for the layer and New England Ivy for the frame and the image. I embossed "Joy" in gold, from CTMH "Noel" stamp set. It's so much prettier IRL than what I was able to photograph! The bling in the corner is CTMH's gold glitter gems.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzN8iDL6lOWD3FoqBCC4LloEPBMuoAVJR26l9hnVMa2Lg7GZoGAHgFLnmbC92i5q_B_tHFp3Xgq2WjJqLJXGGZHiIpy3zFcg0b4ZC4DLIMwh8OhcSW8TeCA9_b1XZFmw7Vly9ue3Ou330F/s1600/photo+1-11.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzN8iDL6lOWD3FoqBCC4LloEPBMuoAVJR26l9hnVMa2Lg7GZoGAHgFLnmbC92i5q_B_tHFp3Xgq2WjJqLJXGGZHiIpy3zFcg0b4ZC4DLIMwh8OhcSW8TeCA9_b1XZFmw7Vly9ue3Ou330F/s1600/photo+1-11.JPG" height="246" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Here is a detail of one of the corners. So pretty!</div>

Good morning, all! Yesterday I showed you a two page layout I devised for my September Scrapbook Club. Today I'm showing the second two-page spread--and yes, you can get both of these pages out of one paper pack! (The colonial white "photo mats" are not included in the pack and are only there to show size and spacing for photos.)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFHXgF5ElUmG-fJKoMbw7ajDyk_ttA_8urD3rC14TnmBX66asEybD-xDi35DrCKMyONzMDaUI2bCT56JDZ_4nwTBjR8BZk5C7OYGUn8TIjDe6SdzbJOCJpROc5wN1Lo-_omaZOiqcP6dkQ/s1600/photo+1-7.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFHXgF5ElUmG-fJKoMbw7ajDyk_ttA_8urD3rC14TnmBX66asEybD-xDi35DrCKMyONzMDaUI2bCT56JDZ_4nwTBjR8BZk5C7OYGUn8TIjDe6SdzbJOCJpROc5wN1Lo-_omaZOiqcP6dkQ/s1600/photo+1-7.JPG" height="352" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="text-align: center;">For these pages I used the Scaredy Cat Paper Packet X7185B, Scaredy Cat Complements X7185C (darling kraft cardstock stickers), White Enamel Stars Z2010, and Black Enamel Stars Bulk362. I also used Black, Sunset, and Thistle ink pads, and the stamp set Halloween Greetings D1605. The page base for this Lo is Black, included in the pack.</span></div>
<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7r_FZV7leZcLp1cbCpQFArP5q91u-k9AfT87LXCd_7lsz-eqpSjk0nfst2GpQ8jzk_HrNCYmWew6jtHALaM-YxsUtpFSwiUGDZTjJ-g8p5vnHklww7LWIgMfGMeFYaM1W7Zu2yEsFTAJL/s1600/photo+1-8.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7r_FZV7leZcLp1cbCpQFArP5q91u-k9AfT87LXCd_7lsz-eqpSjk0nfst2GpQ8jzk_HrNCYmWew6jtHALaM-YxsUtpFSwiUGDZTjJ-g8p5vnHklww7LWIgMfGMeFYaM1W7Zu2yEsFTAJL/s1600/photo+1-8.JPG" height="310" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used the Halloween Greetings stamp set more on this LO than I did on the previous LO. It is so cute! I love that vintage-y Halloween paper too. I cut the moon from CTMH Artbooking at 3" <b><span style="color: orange;">real dial size</span></b>. I used the negative cut of the bat from the moon on my LO as well.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguaLRsUA54lILiGOMV99FoQ7j_qGZAdICgS5MQi_SVqWwsmw53G8J2vBJrUcb08ENtv0BANpNXOKOLfOYG3lCFUGuAT3qeNFI3o6VUh6Hz4uyX8LhVM8fZpLwcVGDBMjAQVIrR5I5qfumA/s1600/photo+4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguaLRsUA54lILiGOMV99FoQ7j_qGZAdICgS5MQi_SVqWwsmw53G8J2vBJrUcb08ENtv0BANpNXOKOLfOYG3lCFUGuAT3qeNFI3o6VUh6Hz4uyX8LhVM8fZpLwcVGDBMjAQVIrR5I5qfumA/s1600/photo+4.JPG" height="308" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I cut "Beware" using CTMH Artbooking at 2.5" high <span style="color: orange; font-weight: bold;">real dial size</span>. This makes it about 8" long. The labels are cut from CTMH Artiste and have stamps designed to go with them in the Halloween Greetings set. This is one of the reasons I love CTMH! And the size you need to cut the label at to fit the stamp is listed right on the stamp set--very convenient!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I hope everyone has enjoyed these layouts--thanks for dropping by today! And if you see anything you just can't live without, you can order it from me by clicking the button at the top of my blog. Have a great day!</div>

</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hello, everyone! My favorite time of year, fall, is here. And my second favorite holiday is not far off! Close To My Heart came out with a wonderful Halloween paper pack this year called Scaredy Cat. This is one of the layouts we well be doing for my September Scrapbook Club. Usually we do a Workshop on the Go, but there wasn't one for this particular paper pack, so I came up with my own. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgd629kXg8QQ-l0RIH6sXd2hekbkAXLR9P9Qf1OKikUWQBOc8OEbAR1b89aYcrUU55CG79QVBI8hh5IcYCKHew2xeTNbAo7q-tUaoQ-1lvLLz8XG0h-WN9Yw-_LoFvdRg3BanbAtZQ_AVk_/s1600/photo+2-5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgd629kXg8QQ-l0RIH6sXd2hekbkAXLR9P9Qf1OKikUWQBOc8OEbAR1b89aYcrUU55CG79QVBI8hh5IcYCKHew2xeTNbAo7q-tUaoQ-1lvLLz8XG0h-WN9Yw-_LoFvdRg3BanbAtZQ_AVk_/s1600/photo+2-5.JPG" height="368" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For these pages I used the Scaredy Cat Paper Packet X7185B, Scaredy Cat Complements X7185C (darling kraft cardstock stickers), White Enamel Stars Z2010, and Black Enamel Stars Bulk362. I also used Black, Sunset, and Thistle ink pads, and the stamp set Halloween Greetings D1605.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOoKWlcKKEQiTDIXw_9sq_IZvLB4tATCG9h9jdZljWqSAu3OhPYR4OVyI8lsvV4yvRw7_W9jblo0AtVnK8TBmjhhVsZ-zpRPbcY9iwrt9oilX-vJKZdg_MV7Q8_j8g8nYzzUNFjUQhPK0t/s1600/photo+1-9.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOoKWlcKKEQiTDIXw_9sq_IZvLB4tATCG9h9jdZljWqSAu3OhPYR4OVyI8lsvV4yvRw7_W9jblo0AtVnK8TBmjhhVsZ-zpRPbcY9iwrt9oilX-vJKZdg_MV7Q8_j8g8nYzzUNFjUQhPK0t/s1600/photo+1-9.JPG" height="307" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The page bases are Whisper, included in the packet. I used the stickers to spell out my title.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrxMNM-koIWiBakTq7PTk4tOz1LCLVJncX10IecDyu6d0AfL9Lb6x4S_eHdZfC7O-QF9oZws3TLhMQ9e8Fl6j9bvUIa9agNiWNbu-BxAXPvfapZ_VlKtl9-tcuaGjhyphenhyphenXfWtL06PDSkeFMb/s1600/photo+4-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrxMNM-koIWiBakTq7PTk4tOz1LCLVJncX10IecDyu6d0AfL9Lb6x4S_eHdZfC7O-QF9oZws3TLhMQ9e8Fl6j9bvUIa9agNiWNbu-BxAXPvfapZ_VlKtl9-tcuaGjhyphenhyphenXfWtL06PDSkeFMb/s1600/photo+4-1.JPG" height="307" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I stamped the pumpkin and cut it out. The little gravestone sticker makes a perfect journaling piece.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-vKr1PfSmpEqjEHL6d2G9K-vcZXmiYGopP9L6aQCm6WSkBQ3Hoa9PvVCBd8FRLpAeyHGVzUfnuspnnE9X9v-hjM106qoyt2bx4iz3B3nQCtVGP9J4MPWctD__-BMO85wXMnXtfOmLc3Jv/s1600/photo+5-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-vKr1PfSmpEqjEHL6d2G9K-vcZXmiYGopP9L6aQCm6WSkBQ3Hoa9PvVCBd8FRLpAeyHGVzUfnuspnnE9X9v-hjM106qoyt2bx4iz3B3nQCtVGP9J4MPWctD__-BMO85wXMnXtfOmLc3Jv/s1600/photo+5-1.JPG" height="320" width="284" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The haunted house was cut using CTMH Artbooking at 6" (NOT real dial size). I wish I had made it a little bigger. I backed the windows with Sunset CS (included in the paper pack).</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYUNKPzLl9oNFtOs1k061LvU9nBKzcPBzCZRuHi-1UiCyxEdyuymYQ0eYeVVFfDzDrow6QvfWnz00Tgo06dHKKES039ZfTYhltOOCzgX_lpMvEo5_EOX6twdO-1-tAfDwFGcGJnEYrvwWn/s1600/photo+2-7.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYUNKPzLl9oNFtOs1k061LvU9nBKzcPBzCZRuHi-1UiCyxEdyuymYQ0eYeVVFfDzDrow6QvfWnz00Tgo06dHKKES039ZfTYhltOOCzgX_lpMvEo5_EOX6twdO-1-tAfDwFGcGJnEYrvwWn/s1600/photo+2-7.JPG" height="314" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The spider web border is also from Artbooking, cut at 11" (again, not RDS) from Thistle CS (in pack). I sponged the edges with black ink. I needed 3 border sections for my LO.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlQFS3aQe6Gu8K0OuGRloPu7QGYkGDGZ7zpGXBJ7Qs58CQ8ojqvMLy6c5L4oMVlZ1ZocfQ5QH7RdDMryF-BlRhrfXg2_nhz4mhXXyfmw75oHjzMUTri8vn0U9kaa2uUh4dkjuAxQByxroX/s1600/photo+3-3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlQFS3aQe6Gu8K0OuGRloPu7QGYkGDGZ7zpGXBJ7Qs58CQ8ojqvMLy6c5L4oMVlZ1ZocfQ5QH7RdDMryF-BlRhrfXg2_nhz4mhXXyfmw75oHjzMUTri8vn0U9kaa2uUh4dkjuAxQByxroX/s1600/photo+3-3.JPG" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The enamel stars I colored with my Copic markers. There is a Scaredy Cat Assortment Z3011 that has enamel stars already in Sunset, Thistle and Black, plus some punched pewter shapes, but I wanted to experiment with coloring the stars with Copics. You get kind of a swirly effect with the Copics--not a solid color.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Thanks for dropping by today! If anything here strikes your fancy, you can order it from me by clicking on the button at the top of my blog. Come back tomorrow to see the second layout using the Scaredy Cat Paper Pack.</div>

Hi, everyone, and welcome to the Evergreen Memories Team CTMH new catalog blog hop! I'm so excited to be a part of this amazingly talented group! You see, when I decided to sign up as a consultant, I couldn't find anyone around here to sign up under. I had already discovered Lalia Harris' blog, <a href="http://www.craftylalia.com/"><span style="color: #e06666;">Crafty Lalia</span></a>, and discovered that she is very talented and super nice! So I signed up under her. Unfortunately for me, she lives in Washington State! But when Evergreen Memories organized a swap, I wanted to participate. If you're coming here from <a href="http://www.craftylalia.com/"><span style="color: #e06666;">Lalia's</span></a> blog, then you are in the right place!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I chose Wanderful, because I love maps and travel themes. We were to do one single page LO and 3 cards.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibMLfC5v3bmapPZ3XaTkPUxqSwZ6FZwzz_J-A-iyzQmBWvBgMvR71dxaGKbXDw6PkKnWU_feIyofNTfcLcon0Pyi6AdD-H5LzK49qpY5u5EbiS_c5dklbW51DsqGncLO0rR6SvGW2m3MCx/s1600/photo-3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibMLfC5v3bmapPZ3XaTkPUxqSwZ6FZwzz_J-A-iyzQmBWvBgMvR71dxaGKbXDw6PkKnWU_feIyofNTfcLcon0Pyi6AdD-H5LzK49qpY5u5EbiS_c5dklbW51DsqGncLO0rR6SvGW2m3MCx/s1600/photo-3.JPG" height="320" width="314" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
on my LO I used Colonial White for the base. Other CS is Crystal, Flaxen, Gypsy, and Smoothie. Ink used are Honey, Gypsy, Crystal, and Black. Stamp sets are the Wanderful WOTG stamp set and Here We Go. I used the CTMH Artbooking cartridge for the Cricut shapes. I'm very pleased with how this turned out! Other elements from the WOTG kit are the arrow washi tape and the silver metal circle. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This card uses Smoothie and Colonial White CS and Crystal, Gypsy and Black ink. Stamp is Here We Go. I used the arrow washi tape and a purple glitter gem.</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here I used Lagoon and Col. White CS and Black ink. Stamp set is Geek is Chic, which may be my very FAVORITE new stamp set! The ribbon is the black striped twill.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here is my last card. It uses Gypsy and Col. White CS and Gypsy and Black ink. I used Frame Flair for the frame, Celebrate from the Cricut Art Philosophy Collection, and the balloon string from the Cricut Artiste Collection. I cut the pennant and label shape from Art Philosophy and the balloon from Artiste.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had my new catalog Open House yesterday and showed off all my lovely swaps, which you can see on this blog hop. Everyone loved them and wanted to sign up for many workshops, so I'm a happy girl. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This cute little bison on skates is from Birthday Bash, one of my all-time favorite Cricut cartridges. It has SO many cute things on it. This is the first time I've ever used the bison though. I mounted him on an Action Wobble, available from Close To My Heart. When you touch him, he wobbles, just like a real bison would do if you put him on skates!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The card base is Tangerine Tango and the paper is Retro Fresh, both SU. The bison is cut at 4". I used Aqua Dots from CTMH on his skates, and the stamp and embossing folder are also CTMH. </div>

Bug Out</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Create a project that uses a bug<br />
<br />
To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Confession time--I geek out over bugs! Cricut bugs that is! There are scads of great bug cuts on many, many Cricut cartridges, but I decided to pull out an oldie but a goodie--Stretch Your Imagination. I think it was the first cart I bought after I got my Cricut. I don't use it much anymore, although it has tons of cute images, but I remembered this particular one and wanted to use it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I cut the two layers at 4.5" tall. I used a green Cricut marker to add a little definition. It's hard to tell in the photo, but I offset the top blade of grass layer. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcq07Q7VJzc2VDxiv8TZ6xOsg1omsQIzRVja_X1f8pSH9kd2uPGsNjc1JQV3FcwtpFqmAJZbps1K8xleZa9pftXLb-T0P0wUMc84Fh5_NFyAAdlcA66oRO2ZdbvkiFPSR81Ra-uikjfd_R/s1600/photo+1-5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcq07Q7VJzc2VDxiv8TZ6xOsg1omsQIzRVja_X1f8pSH9kd2uPGsNjc1JQV3FcwtpFqmAJZbps1K8xleZa9pftXLb-T0P0wUMc84Fh5_NFyAAdlcA66oRO2ZdbvkiFPSR81Ra-uikjfd_R/s1600/photo+1-5.JPG" height="320" width="256" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Am I capable of using a bug on something without putting googly eyes on it? Why NO! I am not. I also used green flock on his antennae.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVYj3mejhqN7orz3aZLI8sIbZpauIi3cIMQrxnCjSwYpwnCesoX-R6F68phiuxXNTgcUBq-FM29gM-xmerjGlmE9ddpeCeTn5281B7TIPtaUBnyki1visKW4pLDoLZZiWxxAsCYyzT8UvS/s1600/photo+3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVYj3mejhqN7orz3aZLI8sIbZpauIi3cIMQrxnCjSwYpwnCesoX-R6F68phiuxXNTgcUBq-FM29gM-xmerjGlmE9ddpeCeTn5281B7TIPtaUBnyki1visKW4pLDoLZZiWxxAsCYyzT8UvS/s1600/photo+3.JPG" height="232" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder, sponged it, and fussy cut the top of the grass stems. The sentiment is from a very old SU set.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I hope you've enjoyed my creation today. Please play along with us this week! It's easy--just create a project with a bug on it, using at least one Cricut cut, and upload it to the <a href="http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: lime;">Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. </span></a></div>

I bought a soap dispenser at Wal-mart and cut out this cute little purple vinyl octopus using the Splish Splash Lite cartridge. I set the width at 3.5", which made the height 2.81". I used transfer tape to apply the vinyl, and then I then filled the container with purple liquid soap. </div>

I love how this turned out! I eventually want to do my bathroom using this cartridge. Maybe some cute vinyl sea creatures on a shower curtain!</div>

Here are some more pages from our Missouri trip using the Picture My Life cards from Close to My Heart. This set is called Surf's Up. The first 6 pages are from our trip to Bridal Cave, and I thought the colors went really well with the cave pix.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The first pic is the one that the cave operators take of every group to sell you at the end. This is the cover page designed to go with the set.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have to say, I like the Picture My Life system a lot more than I thought I would. It's very fast, and kind of fun--like putting together a puzzle! And I intersperse the PML pages with my traditional pages, which adds interest, in my opinion. Most importantly, it gets the pix out there to be looked at, instead of hiding on the computer!</div>

Thanks for dropping by today! Have a great day!</div>

</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Good morning all! I took a lot of great photos on our camping trip to Lake of the Ozarks in June, and I've been working on scrapbooking them. I've never really been too interested in the photopocket scrapbooking trend, but CTMH has a system called Picture My Life, and I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered a set, and my friend ordered a set, and then we swapped out duplicates. These two pages are made with the L8ter Sk8ter set. I just love the bright blues and greens!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Summer Treats</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Create a project that represents the tastes of summer<br />
<br />
To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.<br />
<br />
Good morning all! Today I have a project for you that represents a summer treat for me--strawberries! I used the strawberry box on Spring Cottage and cut the two pieces at 4". It makes a box big enough to hold a 2-3 pieces of candy. You could make it fairly good-sized though--at 4" it only took up about a quarter of my mat.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The red polka dot paper is from PTI, and the green is Wild Wasabi from SU. I embossed the leaves with a folder from QuickKutz. The ribbon is from my stash.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The tag is die cut from the PTI Tiny Tags die, and the sentiment is stamped in SU's Pure Poppy with a stamp from My Time Made Easy by Lauren Meader.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

~This Weeks Challenge~<br />
<br />
That's right, folks--I am the sponsor for this week's challenge at <a href="http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: #674ea7;">FCCB</span></a>--so excited! You may be wondering why, as a CTMH consultant, I have chosen to use SU supplies for this card. Great question LOL! The answer is a very simple one. Up until I discovered CTMH, I used SU products almost exclusively. And do I have a lot of them? You bet I do! I prefer to use my CTMH supplies in my scrapbooking workshops with my customers, and I am trying to use up my SU, so I usually use SU supplies for cards and the like. But CTMH cardstock cuts beautifully in the Cricut, and I highly recommend it for that.<br />
<br />
This week we're doing a color challenge--use yellow, purple and gray. I had this lovely patterned paper from SU's spring mini catalog that I wanted to use, plus I had the big yellow scalloped circle (Spellbinders) that I had cut for something else and not used. So I built my card around those two things.<br />

Card is 5.5" square. Base is PTI white. Other CS is SU Smokey Slate, Daffodil Delight, Perfect Plum, and Wild Wasabi. I sued 2 embossing folders: Swiss Dots from Cuttlebug and a Darice folder for the butterflies. The sentiment is from the Lyrical Letters cartridge.</div>

The roses are from Close to My Heart's Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, and the leaves are from CTMH Artiste. CTMH makes another cartridge--Artbooking--that is GREAT for scrapbooking. AND--drumroll please! CTMH is coming out with another awesome Cricut Collection in August! Details are top-secret--consultants don't even know them yet, but you can bet it will be top notch. CTMH Cricut Collections include the cartridge itself, which has over 700 images on it, 3 coordinating stamp sets, and 3 sheets of chipboard accents, which are white and suitable to ink or stamp on. Each stamp set and chipboard sheet also tells you which cartridge and what size to make your cut--so convenient! Plus there are many stamp sets throughout the CTMH catalog which have coordinating images. They are outlined in red. Below you can see photos of each of our current Cricut Collections and some of the awesome projects you can make using theml</div>

So I've been playing with my Silhouette Cameo more lately. I've fallen in love with <a href="http://www.svgcuts.com/"><span style="color: #38761d;">SVG Cuts</span></a>. They just have the most awesome files, and the assembly videos make them super easy to put together. These files can be used with most electronic cutters, including the new Cricut Explore.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was browsing through the Autumn section of their store the other day. They have several adorable fall collections. I saw this tree card, from the <a href="http://svgcuts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7&products_id=320"><span style="color: #38761d;">Fall Harvest SVG Kit</span></a>. I loved it, but my problem was--it's not fall! No problem--I just made the leaves green instead of fall colors.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I made it even more 3-D by using embossing folders. The woodgrain is actually a plate from PTI. The leaves on the front tree are a Sizzix EF. I also used my Martha Stewart grass border punch. I sponged everything!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The sign I altered a little in Silhouette Studio. I knew I wanted to use the stamp from Father Knows Best by PTI for the sentiment. It says "You're someone to look up to no matter how tall I've grown"--one of my faves. It would have fit on the original sized sign, but I thought it would look more proportional if I made the sign a little less wide and a little taller--very easy to do in the software. I stamped the sentiment in black and embossed the sign with the woodgrain plate.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I loved the card, but thought it needed a little something. I used PTI's Itty Bitty Bird and IBB Additions to stamp the daddy bird watching over the nest. I haven't used my PTI stamps much lately, but they really seemed to fit this project.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This card is for my dad. I know he'll like it because he thinks everything I do is wonderful, but I also hope he likes it because it's pretty cool. Well, thanks for dropping by! Good Monday morning to you all! Ah, May and June are busy months for everyone, what with Mother's Day, end of school, graduations, Memorial Day, and Father's Day. To top it off, at my house we have 3 birthdays and our wedding anniversary! Whew! To tell you truth, I almost think it's busier than December.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Today I have a Father's Day project to share with you, and as<span style="color: orange;"> <a href="http://svgcuts.com/"><span style="color: orange;">SVG Cuts</span></a></span> is our sponsor again, I went on a lovely romp through their store again. I wanted to do something a little different, and I found just the thing--it's in the Autumn section and the file is Leaves Are Falling. It's a decor piece that looks like a ribbon board. It went together beautifully, and I had SO much fun decorating it! It measures 9 x 9".</div>
<div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a picture of my hubby, and he really is an awesome dad! I knew I wanted to use this DP, called Retro Fresh by SU, so I took a picture of him in one of his orange shirts. He has several since he looks good in it and orange just happens to be my favorite color LOL! SVG Cuts has really thought of everything with this file--the holes for the brads are in the file, and everything matches up. Putting it together was effortless. Mary's assembly videos are one reason I love this company so much--they really help!</div>

I love how this project came out! I hope you do too. Stop by <a href="http://svgcuts.com/"><span style="color: orange;">SVG Cuts</span></a> and take a look around their store. Their files work with most cutting machines including the new Cricut Explore, though not with any older Cricut machines, sadly. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And please play along with us this week at <a href="http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: orange;">FCCB</span></a>--just make a project all about Dad, or a masculine project, and link it up to <a href="http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: orange;">FCCB</span></a>. Remember to include at least ONE Cricut cut on your project.</div>

Hi, all, I'm back with some more grad cards. The first one I made for a neighbor who graduated from HS this May. These are not his school colors, but this card really came about while I was playing with some new SU goodies--the Hexagon Hive framelit die and the Retro Fresh DSP. Sent is from SU, little arrow heads are from CTMH, and cap is from PTI. Colors are Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, and Tangerine Tango.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The second card was for his twin sister. I used Laughing Lola from CTMH for the CS and patterned Paper. Stamps are PTI "For the Graduate". I embossed the cap in gold and popped it up. Their school colors are black and gold, but purple makes me think of her.</div>

Create a graduation project<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
Graduation cards are always hard for me for some reason. I don't know why--maybe because there is an element of bittersweet along with the joy and celebration. Maybe also because there is a bit of a limited set of images you can go with LOL! In any case, what I usually do is try to use the school colors of the graduate. Our school colors are black and gold. I just got this paper a few weeks ago and I love it! It's called Kaleidoscope from SU. This particular pattern made me think of confetti, so I knew I wanted to use it. The black chevron embossed paper is from CTMH--it's very glossy and cool. I just got THAT and wanted to use it too! So there may be a bit much pattern on here, but I like it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3PzRzo5v-VGWq2zZ0hWRx_ovG91iy_Nz9fMCl2xoOqzCpMARH8jl9YhAFdw4a4AOc24pze4oNo5t-ktiTM0pxnde2pchyphenhyphen43NNhV4khfyro0-R5eszN-5qWbbsNbsN1VQz1Ypzw1bhU55v/s1600/photo+1-13.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3PzRzo5v-VGWq2zZ0hWRx_ovG91iy_Nz9fMCl2xoOqzCpMARH8jl9YhAFdw4a4AOc24pze4oNo5t-ktiTM0pxnde2pchyphenhyphen43NNhV4khfyro0-R5eszN-5qWbbsNbsN1VQz1Ypzw1bhU55v/s1600/photo+1-13.JPG" height="174" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I really like this cut from Wrap It Up--I like the font. And I thought I would make a 3.25 x 6.25 card. It's a great size for a money card, and let's face it, money is always welcome at graduation! Then I decided I wanted to make it a frame card. I found a cut on the Gypsy Wanderings cart and resized it appropriately. Then I copied it three times. On one copy I hid the oval cut to make a solid piece, then lined it up with the original and welded the two pieces together and cut it out of PTI white. Then on one of the other copies I placed the base cut for the "graduate" over my oval and moved it around and resized it until I was happy and welded that and cut it out of SU Crushed Curry. The third copy is what I cut out of the triangle patterned paper. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiebswr_D1U2xfzGasqHpNsV00HSB3ppRk2zEREoCS3rq2pnoy4TcO3XVUBXr0lE7PsMr3JKZX8H7Pb18p6dnQwrScuk4ERT-bORvH6Gt7P5eOO23fSVPcnJMNlNXxK3y0SV8XlRgiN8U4z/s1600/photo+2-16.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiebswr_D1U2xfzGasqHpNsV00HSB3ppRk2zEREoCS3rq2pnoy4TcO3XVUBXr0lE7PsMr3JKZX8H7Pb18p6dnQwrScuk4ERT-bORvH6Gt7P5eOO23fSVPcnJMNlNXxK3y0SV8XlRgiN8U4z/s1600/photo+2-16.JPG" height="210" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Next I used the same sized graduate base and shift cuts, again with the Crushed Curry and the cool black chevron embossed CS. So the layering goes like this: white card base, gold welded frame piece, triangle-patterned oval frame piece, gold base cut, and finally black shift cut. I think this card turned out kind of cool. But then I thought of an even cooler one, and that one I may share with you tomorrow, if I can get it made today. My dear husband has an awful summer cold, which he has now passed on to me! Still, if playing with my Cricut can't make me feel better, nothing can!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Have a great day and don't forget to play along with <a href="http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: red;">FCCB</span></a> this week! Just make a grad project, use at least one Cricut cut, and upload it to <a href="http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: red;">FCCB</span></a>--that's all there is to it!</div>

Good morning and I hope everyone had a lovely Mother's Day! Today I'm showing you a card that I made from an SVG file from our wonderful sponsor--<a href="http://www.svgcuts.com/"><span style="color: #e06666;">SVG Cuts</span></a>.<br />
<br />
So as many of you know, I am a papercraft addict. Therefore, it's not enough to have a Cricut--I also had to have a Silhouette Cameo too LOL! SVG Cuts has some absolutely amazing kits on their site--please go and check them out! Now that the new Cricut Explore is out (I don't have one yet!), you can now take advantage of these lovely files with a Cricut machine.<br />
<br />
For this card I chose the Edisto Island kit. I am from South Carolina and have spent some lovely vacations on Edisto Island. This card was made using the Butterfly Lever Card file from the kit, along with the darling paper pack from SU's Sale-a Bration promo called Sweet Sorbet. </div>
<div class="p1">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
One of the things I LOVE about SVG Cuts is that they not only provide great SVG files, they give a detailed assembly PDF. AND they always provide a wonderful assembly tutorial video as well, so you have a LOT of help at your fingertips. Mary also talks a little bit about where she got her inspiration, what paper line she's using, and other ideas for each file. Great resource! This first pic is of the card closed.</div>

Love the little scallop detail that is built right into the exterior of the card! And here is my Cricut cut--it's from CTMH Art Philosophy. I had a stamp from Elzybells that I wanted to use--I just love this stamp. So my label needed to be more "circle-ish" than "oval-ish".</div>

I hope you enjoyed my creation today and that you will play along with us at <a href="http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: #e06666;">FCCB</span></a> this week! Just make a project celebrating Mom, use at least one Cricut cut, and upload it to the <a href="http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: #e06666;">FCCB</span></a> blog--easy peasy!</div>

Have you bought an Explore yet? Do you love it? I have no place to put another machine right now, but someday my trusty Expression will go to that great craft room in the sky, and when that day comes, I will shed a tear and then buy an Explore!</div>

~This Weeks Challenge~</h4>
<div>
Good Monday morning to you all! Today's challenge over at FCCB is to use patterned paper on a project. Today I decided to use a SVG file from SVGcuts, plus a Cricut cut!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPraxTwCMy5OigVKN96ATghFsbMZzVZ_Z0EearfMY8klsKfUdlQ-N30Gg8MJPUIuV3R-O5rOcsLm62agdfpzKiVTSdnjV1W5kfQ7_2ehlxUJMR7hGCpoW9WrF0bRS9TwEbymSjRaIyR3qm/s1600/photo+1-7-001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPraxTwCMy5OigVKN96ATghFsbMZzVZ_Z0EearfMY8klsKfUdlQ-N30Gg8MJPUIuV3R-O5rOcsLm62agdfpzKiVTSdnjV1W5kfQ7_2ehlxUJMR7hGCpoW9WrF0bRS9TwEbymSjRaIyR3qm/s1600/photo+1-7-001.JPG" height="320" width="252" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
If you're like me, you've been seeing these box cards EVERYWHERE! In fact, it's hard to find a card that ISN'T a box card LOL! So I took a deep breath and decided to try one. Of course it's a lot easier when you have an electronic die-cutting machine (or two!) to do most of the work for you. I used the Box Card SVG kit from SVGcuts for my project and my Silhouette Cameo. I used my Cricut and CTMH Art Philosophy for the cute little tag (sized at 1.25"). The "mother" stamp is from PTI's Mixed Messages.</div>

Cardstock used is SU Wild Wasabi, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, and CTMH Daisy. The patterned paper is from my stash and is by The Shabby Green Door. Ribbon and button are SU and I used yellow Stickles for the flower centers.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
There's a lot going on in this basket! I thought it would be really hard to put together, but all the pieces are numbered (the numbers are cut into each piece), and there is a PDF file that comes with each kit that shows you how to put it together, plus they always make an assembly video tutorial. The pieces all fit together really nicely too. Honestly, it was much easier than I expected!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A lot of the box cards I've seen around only have 3 vertical layers. This one has 5.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhC7jsQYNeJYHSEiMgOAYorccZJwaJMGejxT-hoosD2WH7MggxTFfhZQ73TSlbt_CXT9wVDmV4bJCYgPpgd1c2XmKCFW2YCfQQNiJixtxdr9KWOSFTZxidOlIzE3ORYQT-cdw56E1gIp8zb/s1600/IMG_0473.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhC7jsQYNeJYHSEiMgOAYorccZJwaJMGejxT-hoosD2WH7MggxTFfhZQ73TSlbt_CXT9wVDmV4bJCYgPpgd1c2XmKCFW2YCfQQNiJixtxdr9KWOSFTZxidOlIzE3ORYQT-cdw56E1gIp8zb/s1600/IMG_0473.jpg" height="320" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And here is a pic of it folded flat to put in an envelope. A file for an envelope to fit each style of box card is included in the kit. I haven't made it yet though!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So, if you're hear then you're probably a papercrafter, and if you're a papercrafter, then you probably have a TON of patterned paper that you're hoarding. Set it free! Let it shine! Make a project using some of it and at least one Cricut cut and upload it to the <a href="http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: red;">Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog</span></a>. You could win some wonderful stamps from <a href="http://www.marksfinestpapers.com/servlet/StoreFront"><span style="color: #6aa84f;">Mark's Finest Paper</span></a>!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful creative week!</div>

Good morning! Today I have a get-well card to share with you--our theme is April Showers and we were to use an umbrella on our card. There are so many ways to use an umbrella, and I almost went with a baby shower card, but decided I'd probably be able to use a get well card sooner LOL.</div>

This adorable little gal is cut from the Create a Friend cart at 3". I used a Darice embossing folder for the BG. The stamp is PTI, and I used SU's modern label punch to stamp it on. As I said last week, 2005-2006 was a good year for great pix of fun activities! This is Matt with his best friend from Wilmington, Hunter. They were at an indoor rock-climbing wall.</div>

Here I've used the nifty Pro Player WOTG from the falll-winter 2013 CTMH catty. You can still get the paper and embellies, just not the stamp set. I used the CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge for the overlays, frames, title, and large star. The small stars are left over from the overlays and frames. The pinked circle and the banners came from CTMH Artiste. I actually CASE'd this LO from <a href="http://noreenschat.blogspot.com/2013/08/ctmh-artbooking-proplayer-scrapbook.html"><span style="color: red;">Noreen</span></a>. She does awesome work!</div>

All the papers, CS and inks are CTMH, except for the black craft ink from SU, which I embossed in black. Colors are Ruby Red, Pacifica, and Honey. I used a couple of embossing folders on the banners on the lefthand page--one SU and the Cuttlebug Diamond Plate one.</div>

I had so much fun making these pages! The paper is awesome and I will be ordering more of it. In other news, we had a wonderful Easter weekend. On Saturday we went to Old Cowtown (Emily's favorite--I had never been!) What an awesome place that is--especially for this Laura Ingalls Wilder fan! I bet I've read her books a hundred times, and there it was, all laid out IRL!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sunday afternoon we went to the Bartlett Arboretum to hear Peter and the Wolf and Appalachian Spring in an outdoor concert. The gardens were gorgeous! And so was the music. We got great pix at Cowtown, but I forgot my camera on Sunday, so I took lots of pix with my phone. I hope they turn out! More scrapbooking material LOL.</div>

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a lovely Easter! Today's challenge was to make an Easter card, and I had this lovely digital stamp from Aurora Wings to use. I sized it in my word processing program, printed it out on SU Whisper White, and colored with markers. Then I fussy cut it out.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I was thinking of Charleston, Savannah, and New Orleans--the lovely wrought ironwork they have in those cities, and how gorgeous they look in the spring when everything is blooming. So I decided to use my much neglected Ornamental Iron cartridge. I cut this gate at 5.5" high. There was a row of little square cutouts at the bottom which I trimmed off. I layered it onto some yellow floral patterned paper and placed my image over it, but it looked too stark, so I added a layer of vellum cardstock. It softened up the wrought iron and allowed the image to really pop. Since glue shows through vellum, I attached it with brads. I embossed Easter Wishes from PTI's Mega Mixed Messages on the vellum in black.</div>

Please play along with us at FCCB this week! Just make a project using Easter or a bunny and at least one Cricut cut and upload it to the <a href="http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: lime;">Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog</span></a>--that's all there is to it! You could win $10 worth of digi images from Aurora Wings!</div>
