Here is Emily's cheerleader portrait from last year when she took cheerleading at the Y. The curved panel is actually clear CS that I traced on with a Sharpie. If there's one thing I hate to do, it's cover up beautiful patterned paper! That's a huge reason I'm such a paper hoarder--can't bear to cover it up! What a weirdo I am. Anyway, the "pom-poms" were made using the Sizzix Daisy die from SU. The smaller flower has a clear rhinestone brad and the large one has a brad from Making Memories. Gray panel is Going Gray that I wheeled with an old SU wheel called Confetti in black. "She's all that" from Cricut Graphically Speaking cartridge. I have some snapshots of her doing the cheer thing that I need to scrap too, but this is good for now. A few weeks into the cheer thing she wanted to quit, but I made her see it through. She has no interest in it now, but she can turn a mean cartwheel, which is more than I ever could! Happy stamping!

CPS105, SCA3C14
Well, ladies, I have been extremely busy over the last week! Saturday was my SU group's Stamp Camp. We had 60 people and they made 6 projects: 3 cards, 1 bag-in-a-box, 1 adorable pic frame, and a miniaturized version of the cocoa to go box. I will be uploading pix of those later, but first...if you ever want to stamp but can't seem to find your mojo, a sketch and/or color combo challenge is a great way to get moving again! Here I have combined CPS 105 from Card Positioning Systems and SCA3C14, from Sara's Creative Adventures. I also played with my new sets from PTI--Tags for Spring (bird) and Beyond Basic Borders (tree and sent). Sara's color challenge was to use New Leaf, Ripe Avocado, and Spring Moss. I don't have Spring Moss, so I used one of my all time fave colors, SU's Certainly Celery. I used the Birds and Swirls cuttlebug embossing folder, and my new Making Memories slot punch tool. Ribbon is New Leaf Satin and ink is New Leaf and Summer Sunrise. Hope you've enjoyed this--why not give these sketches a try?
