I have been having a ton of fun with the Vintage Picnic set from PTI! Sorry but you're probably going to be seeing a lot more of it!
Here I used Lauren's My Time Sketch 20. I stamped the flowers in brown on vanilla, colored them with Stampin' Pastels. Basket is stamped on Creamy Caramel. DP is retired SU but looks fab with the Melon Berry base. Punched scallop circle is Summer Sunrise. Buttons and jute are PTI. Sent. is from Birthday Basics.
Hope you have time for a picnic sometime soon!

This last release, PTI came out with a set where you use buttons as part of your stamped image. Very cute! But money is tight and I can't buy a new set every time I turn around. So I thought I'd try this instead! I thought it would be cute to have the elephant from Bitty Baby Blessings holding some balloons. My friend Banu (check out her blog here) sent me some buttons a few weeks ago so I am putting them to good use. I especially love the striped button at the top of the balloon bunch. I used a ruler and black marker to draw the strings. CS is Lemon Tart, Aqua Mist, and Ocean Tides (for the ear). Used Borders and Corners Oval and the smallest oval Marvy scallop punch for the little tag at the bottom. Card front is embossed with CB Swiss Dots, and of course my favorite toy, Nesties, are used for the focal point. Elephant is stamped on Bitty Dots DP and cut out. Ribbon is PTI. I really am happy with how this card turned out--now I just need someone to have a baby so I can give it away. Have a great day, thanks for stopping by!

Well, the PTI blog hop is in a few days (the 25th to be exact) and the challenge this month is to use text in some way on our creations. So I have been doing some experimenting. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I absolutely love this card! I was thinking about using it for my blog hop entry but I came up with another idea to use. I was playing around with the rock and roll technique and hit on inking up the flower in Berry Sorbet and rolling the edges in Pure Poppy. This is a gorgeous color combo--I'm sure I'm not the first to think of it LOL! The set is Life by PTI designed by Lisa Johnson. BG is Background Basics Text Style in Pure Poppy on Berry Sorbet CS, ribbon is Pure Poppy. Stem and leaf are inked with New Leaf, black doo-dads are from K & Co, bought a long time ago, don't know if they still make them. Nesties used for layers. Butterfly is a Martha Stewart Punch, with the text BG in red on berry sorbet. Rock and rolled the word "Life" as well.

Hello, sorry it's been so long since I've posted! This is a card I made for Emily's friend Katie. Her birthday party is at Chuck E Cheese this evening. Can you give me a big ol' yay. Oh, well, Chucky notwithstanding, Katie is a sweet girl who is turning 7--she is in Emily's Daisy troop.
This image is from Elzybells. They just have the sweetest teddy bear stamps! I loved this one of them blowing bubbles. Sentiments on inside and out are PTI from Birthday Basics. CS is SU: Whisper White, Taken With Teal, Pink Pirouette, and Regal Rose. Ribbon and DP are retired SU. Butterfly is from Dew Drops! I couldn't believe it when I saw it in my LSS--I got the last bottle.
I have made some other cards, just have not had a chance to upload them yet. Maybe soon...take care and enjoy some stamping time!
