Birthday gift for Kate

I have been waiting to post this until the end of the PTI 2nd Anniversary madness is over, which is tonight. My daughter has a very good friend in her 1st grade class, Kate, who had her birthday party last weekend. I made her a gift ensemble built around this Doodlebug Design paper, which I absolutely love. Kate told me recently that blue is her fave color (I was originally going to do it in purple--I thought that was every little girl's fave color LOL!) so I used the blue, which turned out to go very well with SU's Ballet Blue. Other ink and CS is Green Galore and Summer Sun. Butterfly punch is Martha Stewart (and is there to cover a smudge--don't pretend you've never done that!) and covered with stickles. Oh, and I used my new eyelet border punch from SU. Set is Floral Frenzy by PTI.

I enclosed a Target gift card in her present. This is just a folded piece of the DP with a band to hold it closed. Card is attached with glue dots.

I used Lauren Meader's Lollipop-along design from her MyTimeless Templates collection. Inside are some mani-pedi things and some polish--Ems loves that stuff so I figured Kate would too.

Here is the side view. I used the bucket style to hold all the stuff. It turned out really cute.

Hope you enjoyed looking--thanks for stopping by!
