One of the things I love being able to do with my Cricut is to make things for church. Our Director of Dicipleship Development (I know, what a mouthful!) wants seasonal door decor for our children's Sunday School. Another lady also Cricuts, so she did some and I did some. The themes were Ashley's suggestions. She didn't want it to Christmas-y, since she wanted to be able to leave it up all winter. After I got them done, she and some others laminated them so they well be able to reuse them next year.
Her first theme was penguins, with "Waddle on into Sunday School". The penguins are from Create a Critter 1 and 2 and Simply Charmed. The letters I did with SCAL on my Cricut.
This little guy is actually a Happy New Year penguin, so of course I HAD to make his hat, tie, and cane out of silver glitter CS. I love him--he is so dapper!
Fun with patterned paper!
Here is the girl penguin from Simply Charmed. I used red glitter CS for her bow.
Isn't this fun? Every teacher should have access to a Cricut--they make bulletin boards a snap.
Thanks for dropping by today!
