Before Christmas the kids and I went down to visit my parents at their home near Decatur, TX. I thought this was a great pic so I ordered a 5 x 7 print of it (which I trimmed down a little). This layout is based on a sketch for my friends' and my new blog, Inspired Crafters. You can see it here. Our amazing Banu has gotten it all set up and posted our first scrapbooking sketch, which she got from Page Maps. I just realized I forgot to put on a title! Yikes! I may be able to squeeze something between the photo and the journalling, for now it will have to do. All CS, ribbon, punches, hardware and DP are SU. The barbed wire which I substituted for the flourish in the sketch is made with the Cricut Old West cartridge (hey, Mike's was having a BOGOF sale okay?) . Colors are Garden Green textured(I thought it matched Em's shirt better than Wild Wasabi), River Rock textured, and Blue Bayou. DP is Western Sky. The font is Handwriting Dakota--I really like it! This was a really fun sketch and one I would use again I think.
